Mesure is the Amsterdam-based fashion brand creating made-to-measure womenswear. Every item is designed to fit your size and style, to make you feel and radiate confidence. They are items that celebrate and compliment femininity. Ultimately to empower smart, strong and independent women all over the world. Building a culture that salutes women for being assertive, persuasive, determined and great leaders. A culture where a woman gets attention for what she has to say and for the story she creates.
Born out of necessity, Mesure is a counteraction to the fast-fashion model which currently dominates the industry causing overconsumption and overproduction. Mesure wants to be part of the solution by replacing excess with quality, fast with slow fashion and conformity with individuality.
Re-introducing the wearer to the way clothes are supposed to be made, empowering considered choices and encouraging them to cherish a piece of clothing for a longer period of time. Changing the industry one garment at a time.

Ateliers and fabrics
Our items are crafted in ateliers across Italy, the Czech Republic, and China. We only work with ateliers who are committed to responsible production, ensuring fair wages and safe workplaces. This includes strong working conditions, solar-powered electricity, and effective waste treatment through municipal systems. All our ateliers hold SHA8000 certification for working conditions, ISO9001 for quality management, and ISO14001 for environmental management. When it comes to fabrics, we strongly believe in using natural, renewable materials over synthetic ones. The main materials we use are natural — wool, cotton, silk, linen, and Tencel — and are sourced primarily from Italy's finest mills, including Loro Piana, Drago, Lanificio Rogna, Vitale Barberis Canonico, and Reda.

Mesure is founded by Sara Blanken. Sara worked for a made-to-measure menswear brand for several years and noticed that there is a gap in the market when it comes to tailor-made clothing for women. Mesure was founded to give women a voice in the world of tailoring.
