What does Made-to-measure mean?

Made-to-measure means clothing that is exclusively made for you and fits not only your body type but your personal style too. Made-to-measure is also a statement of care. Care for purchasing and dressing intentionally. Care to replace excess with individuality and quality. And care for conscientious manufacturing of clothing.

How does Made-to-measure work?

Your made-to-measure journey starts by getting measured. Book an appointment to get measured by one of our Stylists at our showroom. Our Stylist will measure you using your closest fixed size, and tailor the garment to your fit and personal preferences. Then you can create and customise your own garment by picking a fabric, buttons, and more. Your garment will be custom-made for you within 4 weeks.

How long will my garment take to arrive?

Your item will be custom-made and delivered within approximately 4 weeks. We will notify you through email or phone to let you know once your garment has arrived.

what products do you offer?

We currently offer made-to-measure suits, jackets, trousers, knitwear, shirts, coats and even jeans. Sign up to our newsletter to stay up-to-date on new product launches.

Do you plan to introduce new products?

We are planning to introduce more (made-to-measure) products. If there’s something in particular you’d like to see, we’d love to hear. Please let us know by sending an email to info@mesureamsterdam.com.

Are you sustainable?

By producing only once ordered we avoid overproduction, unsold waste and all emissions that go with it. The made-to-measure and made-to-order model is therefore a much more responsible way to make clothing than the fast fashion model which currently dominates the industry. Additionally, we primarily work with natural materials for our garments, making sure they last longer and are recycable. Any questions regarding sustainability? Feel free to reach out via info@mesureamsterdam.com

Where are your garments made?

Our items are crafted in ateliers across Italy, the Czech Republic, and China. We only work with ateliers who are committed to responsible production, ensuring fair wages and safe workplaces. This includes strong working conditions, solar-powered electricity, and effective waste treatment through municipal systems. All our ateliers hold SHA8000 certification for working conditions, ISO9001 for quality management, and ISO14001 for environmental management.
